Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use GhostSign. By using GhostSign, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

GhostSign may be downloaded or accessed through third-party app marketplaces, including the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of GhostSign may also be subject to applicable marketplace, device, operating system, payment, carrier, and network terms.

If you use the GhostSign iOS application, you and GhostSign acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and GhostSign only, and not with Apple. GhostSign, and not Apple, is solely responsible for the GhostSign iOS application and its content. These Terms do not provide usage rules for the GhostSign iOS application that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review those terms.

If you use the GhostSign Android application, your use of GhostSign may also be subject to the applicable Google Play terms and policies.

Subject to these Terms, GhostSign grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use GhostSign for your personal, non-commercial use.

For iOS users, this license is limited to use of the GhostSign iOS application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the GhostSign iOS application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where applicable.

For Android users, this license is limited to use of the GhostSign Android application on devices you own or control and as permitted by applicable Google Play, device, and operating system terms.

You may need to create an account to use certain GhostSign features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your account information reasonably current.

Your use of GhostSign is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://www.ghostsign.io/privacy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with GhostSign.

GhostSign may allow you to enter, submit, upload, save, or generate information, including goals, check-ins, notes, self-reported observations, experiment data, and related content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant GhostSign a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, secure, and improve GhostSign, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the right to submit it. You should not submit information that you are not authorized to process or share.

GhostSign is intended for personal self-experimentation, reflection, and informational use. You may use GhostSign to:

• Design and run personal self-experiments
• Record manual daily check-ins and self-reported observations
• Review AI-assisted protocols, summaries, and reports
• Reflect on patterns, routines, and personal outcomes over time

You agree not to:

• Use GhostSign for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from GhostSign except where such restriction is prohibited by law
• Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit GhostSign without our written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to GhostSign systems, accounts, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt GhostSign's operation, security, or infrastructure
• Use GhostSign in any emergency, acute medical, or life-safety situation
• Submit regulated, third-party, or sensitive data that you are not authorized to process
• Use GhostSign to make decisions that legally or medically require professional judgment

GhostSign is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Nothing in GhostSign, including any AI-generated content, experiment suggestion, protocol, summary, report, source, or recommendation, constitutes medical advice.

You should not rely on GhostSign as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with questions about your health. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

GhostSign uses artificial intelligence and related technologies to help generate ideas, plans, summaries, reports, and other outputs. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or inappropriate for your circumstances.

Any self-experimentation carries inherent risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating, interpreting, and deciding how to act on any information or output provided through GhostSign. You voluntarily assume all risks arising from your use of GhostSign and from any actions you take based on information provided through GhostSign.

GhostSign may offer paid auto-renewing subscriptions, free trials, and other paid features. Subscription titles, features, prices, billing intervals, trial availability, renewal terms, and cancellation terms are shown in the app or through the applicable app marketplace before purchase.

If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store, payment will be charged to your Apple Account and your subscription will renew according to Apple's terms unless canceled through your Apple Account settings before renewal.

If you purchase a subscription through Google Play, payment will be charged to your Google Play account and your subscription will renew according to Google Play's terms unless canceled through your Google Play subscription settings before renewal.

You are responsible for managing and canceling subscriptions through the marketplace or account through which you purchased them. Deleting the app or deleting your GhostSign account may not automatically cancel your subscription. Refunds, cancellations, billing disputes, and renewal behavior may be handled by the applicable app marketplace according to its policies and applicable law.

We may change pricing, subscription offerings, and included features to the extent permitted by applicable law and applicable marketplace rules.

GhostSign is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for GhostSign, to the extent required by applicable law or as we otherwise choose to provide.

For iOS users, you and GhostSign acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the GhostSign iOS application.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GhostSign is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment.

GhostSign is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed.

For iOS users, if the GhostSign iOS application fails to conform to any applicable warranty that cannot be effectively disclaimed under law, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, paid for the GhostSign iOS application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the GhostSign iOS application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be GhostSign's sole responsibility.

You and GhostSign acknowledge that GhostSign, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to GhostSign or your possession or use of GhostSign, including:

• Product liability claims
• Any claim that GhostSign fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement
• Claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation

Nothing in these Terms limits GhostSign's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

GhostSign and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to GhostSign, including all software, content, designs, interfaces, graphics, trademarks, branding, and related intellectual property rights.

You may not use GhostSign's name, logo, branding, or trademarks without our prior written permission.

For iOS users, you and GhostSign acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that the GhostSign iOS application or your possession and use of the GhostSign iOS application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, GhostSign, and not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that intellectual property infringement claim.

GhostSign may rely on third-party services, platforms, infrastructure providers, artificial intelligence providers, payment processors, analytics or diagnostics providers, app marketplaces, and other service providers.

You agree to comply with all applicable third-party agreements when using GhostSign, including applicable marketplace, device, operating system, carrier, network, and payment terms.

Third-party services are not controlled by GhostSign, and GhostSign is not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.

You represent and warrant that:

• You are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country
• You are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using GhostSign

We may suspend or terminate your access to GhostSign at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure, or used GhostSign in a way that may harm GhostSign, users, or third parties.

You may stop using GhostSign at any time. Upon termination, your license to use GhostSign ends immediately. Certain sections of these Terms will survive termination where their nature requires survival, including sections relating to intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GhostSign and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of GhostSign.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GhostSign's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or GhostSign will not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid to GhostSign for the applicable service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
• USD $50

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GhostSign and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of GhostSign, your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

This indemnification obligation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent superseded by applicable consumer protection law.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or GhostSign will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue, except where prohibited by applicable law.

If you use the GhostSign iOS application, you and GhostSign acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the GhostSign iOS application. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

No other person or entity will be deemed a third-party beneficiary of these Terms unless expressly stated.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice within GhostSign, on our website, by email, or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of GhostSign after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using GhostSign.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented to you in connection with specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and GhostSign regarding your use of GhostSign.
